Questions

The things people ask

Why can't I find the ad I heard?

Most likely the business has not listed it yet. Radio commercials are not published anywhere online, so a directory like this only knows about an ad once the advertiser or their station adds it. Try describing it in fewer words, or browse the station you were tuned to.

Is it free to search?

Yes. Searching is free and does not require an account. Listing your own commercial is free too.

How do I get my commercial listed?

Create a free account and upload it. You need the business name and phone number; the audio is optional but makes you far easier to find, because we transcribe it and match on anything said in the spot.

Do you have a recording of every radio ad?

No, and nobody does. Broadcast audio is not archived publicly. We hold the commercials advertisers and stations give us, which is why the directory grows market by market.

Can I search by speaking instead of typing?

Yes. Tap the microphone and describe the ad out loud. We turn it into text, show you that text so you can correct anything we misheard, then search. The recording is used for that one search and never stored.

How do I remove or correct my listing?

Sign in and edit it from your account — including the phone number. If the listing is not yours or you cannot access the account, contact us and we will take it down.

Why does a result say “from the web”?

When nothing in the directory matches closely, we search the open web for businesses fitting your description. Those are suggestions, not verified listings — check before you call.
